To meet the challenge of our Bishop, the liturgy committee was formed to assure that at our Sunday liturgy we would be "neither strangers nor spectators." He challenges us that "each person...have a good understanding of the rite, that participation...be full and active, that the Word...be grasped and the Meal...be nourishing, that the offering of selves through Christ...be primary, and that the celebration be pastorally efficacious."
